Deliberate Practice Group Research Project

All members of the Pluralistic Practice Network are invited to take part in a group learning project over the course of the year. This involves collecting data from you, around your experience of deliberate practice, which I will analyse and write up as a published report.

The aim is to help the whole Pluralistic Practice community to learn more about how best to use deliberate practice to become a more effective therapist. The project involves:

  1. Using the ideas and suggestions outlined (and in the recommended reading) to engage in deliberate practice over the next few months.
  2. Keep a record of your deliberate practice work, by completing an entry on your Deliberate Practice Log whenever you spend time in this way.
  3. Taking part in a focus group or individual interview, and (optionally) submitting your DP log entries.

If you are interested in taking part in this project, please contact Julia McLeod at juliamcleod@gmail.com

For more information about deliberate practice and the research please see the documents below.
